easy as pie...not sure about the first one, it looks odd. but for the second one you hafta remove all of the factory airbox. You might as well get the GSR CAI off of eBay too. But for this as i said just take off the airbox from the MAS and the metal piece will bolt up to it with the circle part that sticks out on the outside. And the filter just slips onto that piece and tightens down with a fastener.

1st and 2nd are same basic principal. Take out stock airbox, put adapter on MAS, and clamp filter onto adapter. DONE

its just one filter the first one. the reason i put the second one is cuz thats the adapter. Is this right or did they send the wrong adapter?

The adapter from the second one looks like the right one.

if u could get the adaptor from the first pic. that would be the best. no funny plumbing fittings needed. the adpator from the first pic would fit ur car. its been proven. for install those bad boys, just unbolt the stock airbox and bolt the adpator in its place. it goes on the side with the airbox. its the flat side, not the side with the oval.

Is the rubber part on the filter supposed to go around the adapter or inside of it. If it goes around then they sent me the wrong adpaper. cause the only way I see is to jam it in there but it keeps falling out so it must be wrong. After I get this all right will I need something to hold up the MAS and filter? Does anyone sell something like that or do I have to make it?

it goes around...should fit somewhat tightly around and use the metal clamp to keep it on

heh and i guess i am a happy guy, either that or i just like those 2 smileys  and :lauging:

it goes on the outside. if its a lil bit tight fit, thats good, its supposed to be that way. the big hose clamps helps to hold the filter down to the adaptor

i seen some people just get some wire and hang the intake from the strut bar. but yea if u get some thin sheet metal u can make a bracket and bolt it to something

First I would like to thank everyone for thier help. Second it did turn out to be the wrong adapeter I called the company and they said they should ship it out by today or tommrow. Seth and PinoyESV6 made me realize that it was the wrong one when they said it should fit snug. the clamp all the way open doesn't even fit around the adapter and the rubber part on the filter is even smaller then the clamp so i was like hell no that shit goin fit real snug  if I can even get it around it. So now im going to have to wait like 3 more weeks to finaly do my intake. well I better start puttin the stock intake back together https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif
