feels like shifter cables get stuck when shifting into 3rd, wtf.

finished my 5speed swap on my 8G a coupe months ago. but now more often than not it feels like my shifter cables constantly gets stuck when shifting into 3rd! fucktfuckkfuhh!!!!!!

amazingly when i spay some WD40 into the shifter housing it shifts a lot easier. But I notticed shifting into 3rd seems to get harder when its cold outside(during which time WD40 seems not to help at all)
--just an observation i made this morning. wtf.

Any ideas?

Check the shifter bushings on the cable end connecting to the transmission - if they are worn, it will make shifting difficult.
