We will be bringing back the poker run from last year. It was a huge success last year with the winning group taking over $100.00. We are looking to have a larger poker run this year with more stops and hopefully more contestants. Please see below for the setup we will be using. If you have any questions please let me know.
Poker Run Setup
Basics
Teams of two compete to gather up a hand of playing cards distributed to predetermined location in and around Normal, Illinois. Upon completion of obtaining the cards the winner will be determined by the best 5 card poker hand.

High Card

3 of a Kind

The Start
All the teams will start at a neutral location (Eastland Mall). At this location we will draw for the first destination of each team. A map and the list of the locations of the cards will be supplied to each team at this time. All the teams will leave from this location and proceed to their first stop. After the first stop the order to obtain the cards is at the teams discretion but the final stop is the park to obtain the final card.
Each location will have a complete deck of cards of a different style. Cards will be handed out in a random fashion. Just because you are the first to a spot doesn’t mean you will get an Ace.
Rules
• $5 buy-in from each participant ($10.00 per team)
• Winner takes all
• Obey traffic laws.
• The time taken to complete the run does not factor into who wins.
• At each location a team member will pick up a card.
• This is a winner take all event.
This will occur on Saturday, May 23rd. Start time is 12:00 PM..
