sub box help

hey, guys im building a sub box help today, and i need some ideas, i just dont know how to design a sweet box for the 8g, ive done boxes for explorers and 2g and 3g eclipses but i just got no ideas for my own damn car any help

yea dude u need to figure out the airspace you need and then go from there the airspace needed will usally be in the manual that came with the subs or the web site,if you need a airspace calculator you can go to the 12 volt.com and they have it.

If you really dont know gimme the model number such as flame series or w.e and i will tell u waht u need and get u a nice custom box made.

i'm kinda guessing if he didnt know what cubic feet were he hasnt built a box before atleast if he did he got lucky if it sounded right. i thought that was one of the first things you learn in building sub boxes

Ive always wanted to put subs above the back tires in the trunk. Theres those little cubbies on each side try it there! thatd be mint

i think i just got lucky for the cubic feet lol, or my friends just gave me the dimensions, and i just went from there

i'm glad you got lucky i never did when i started out....and i think the subs being mounted above the tires would look great but is there enough room since the subs are 10 in deep? if they are it would look great
