The shiny trim that goes around the car needs replacing. The plastic film in coming off all over. Where can I find these pieces? I need them all.

The plastic guard right below the windshield wipers is faded to a light grayish. I want to paint this back to the oem color for my black G. I also want to paint the windshield wipers (not the blades themselves but the lower part) because they're also faded.

What color black paint will I need for this? I also need paint that will stand up to the snow and rain of New England weather.

Thanks for your help.

This is what I want to paint, is this kalapana black also? It's plastic so I don't really know.

Would regular black spray paint chip or crack in the snow and ice though? Is there any type of spray paint that is weather resistant or something? Krylon fuson worked perfect on my fuse box cover but then again that's covered from the weather.

flat black I'm looking at getting and not glossy or anything like that. I'm going to keep searching, I thought somebody would have already done this before because I can't be the only one with that faded so much.

That helps a lot, thanks. I'll pick up the paint tomorrow and do it sometime this week. I'll repaint my grill while I'm at it because that's faded too.

I love cheap mods that make the car look a lot better :) .

LOL I could imagine somebody doing that. It would be kind of awesome in a way if it wasn't my car.

Don't worry, when I paint something I always take the piece off my car and carefully mask off anything that I don't want painted.

I'm also looking to replace the trim around the car. Where can I find this?

Sorry for the crappy pic but it's all I had.

When I buy the new trim is it on double sided tape or what do I need to mount the new trim?
