good beginning. When you upgrade the rear discs, might as well upgrade to SS brake lines and even paint your calipers while its all off anyway. it'll be easier to paint them when its off the car.

Well yes it is a Rolex, My dad got it for himself about 5 years ago after a deal went through, and when i moved to Toronto and he stayed in Florida, he gave it to me as "don't forget me, this is worth more than your life" type of thing lol...

Trigg PMed me... mentioned he could get them.. but it would take a while.. he says something like USD 20 shipped... it's not bad.. but he gave me the part number (MB943607) i'll try going to mitsu here see what they can do.. I have a friend that owns a mitsu dealer and see what HE can do.. other wide I just got my Dremel kit, and i will begin practicing.. if worse comes to worst.. i'll end up putting them in and eventually connecting them, when i get the connectors.

So today I went out to my buddy's place and did some cutting... I practiced on a few pieces of metal until i got the hang of it.

I was using the dremel cutting wheel that came in the box... what a piece of shit lol... I went out and bought some reinforced wheels, they worked like a charm....

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d91/es_fact/100_0158.jpg

we measured like 9 times... taped it all up (got the idea from Galante) and traced it out with a light cutting wheel

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d91/es_fact/100_0161.jpg

then i moved in for the heavy cut with some reinforce cut-offs... I cut out a rough square about half a centimeter in off the outline (which i scratched in with a knife)
I look a bit too excited..

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d91/es_fact/100_0162.jpg

After that, all tape was removed and i used a grinding disk to make the rounds... When that failed completely, I went out and bought some grinding stones.. which sucked REALLY bad lol.

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d91/es_fact/100_0164.jpg

this is the aftermath of the stone...

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d91/es_fact/100_0170.jpg

Either way.. after a bit of fighting I finished it...

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d91/es_fact/100_0167.jpg

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d91/es_fact/100_0168.jpg

For those who want to do this...

It is very easy, time consuming, and completely worth it.

But save your time and money and go straight for Reinforced Cutting Wheels, and diamond tipped grinding stones... which Im' getting tomorrow. I'll post pics one i get them.

i hate grinding wheels. they wear down much to fast. and if you run it at too high of an RPM, the metal will stick to the wheel when it cools.

I know... it's such a bitch, but today i picked up a set of 4 diamond tip grinders... that should do the trick lol

and for those who plan on ordering the side markers from japan... the USDM OUTLANDER has the same exact clear markers with matching connectors.

and I paid only 5 something for each plug :)

got them from JM racing vendor here.

Yeah i have to lift them a bit, that might be the main issue lol.

so you have d2 and used stock sway links?

i searched and found that the plastic backing for the bearing on the link is garbage, i should look for some moog links that are full metal. but more shipping and handling? lol f that, imma order some stocks and try to get them to fit by lifting my ride height a bit.

Also, for regualr street driving, what are you guys using on your dampening settings?

Yes, I use oem replacements, I just adjusted the bracket on the coilovers to a decent height, cause I heard that if the sway bar is too low its going to hit something and make a sound. But If I were you I would go with adjustables.

And I daily drive my car I'm using Fr: 16 clicks, Rr 15 or 14 can't remember. Feels somewhat comfortable but far from oem.
