Hey guys, there is the intake I got. I looked at some pics of people installing them previously, and it looks like only one of those pipes are used.

So it goes throttle body, pipe, the electrical box (sorry, don't know proper name) and then after that the filter correct? No need for the second pipe?

thanks!

The second pipe is to make it a cai, and the electrical box is called the maf sensor

Alright thanks!

Should I make it short ram or CAI?

I think short ram look better, but both do the same thing.

Yea short ram looks way better, but is there no performance difference between SR and CAI?

eh, not that i know of. They will both do the same thing, I have heard CIA will get cooler air but I have also heard CIA throttle response is a bit weaker than short ram.

So basically the difference is so insignificant that the decision comes down to looks? I think I'll do SR

I'd just stay short ram,,,,,less chance of water splashing onto the filter versus a C.A.I. that's a lot closer to the ground. There's not much difference as far as gains between the two setups either.
EDIT: shouldn't this be in the Performance Mods section?:D

Yea it should now that I think about it, I appologize. At first I didn't even think to put it there because I don't even think of it as a real performance mod lol. Sorry about posting in the wrong place. So short ram it is, ill have pics tomorrow :)
