So... I bought some cheap shoemaker "conquer" HID kit about 8 months ago... (should have known not to trust a brown guy sellin' chinese lights under an english name at some sport clothing store) They are now dead... life time warranty? yes... too bad the store is no longer there... : /

Now at first i though.. oh well its just the fuse.. but they came back on from time to time... so that rulled out the fuse AND the bulbs being damaged or burnt... i figured the balast was the problem as i couldn't find anything else wrong...

I got a new set from DDM coming tomorrow.. i saw them at 70 for the 35W, i got the 55W so i paid 15 extra.. plus shippin'.. 112 :) not too bad... actually.. that was US currency.. came to around 150 ( same i paid before) no problem... actually... they are chraging me another 54 something for customs and all... fine... 200 later.. i hope these go right on my old wiring :( I didn't put them on myself.. i had some guy do them.. he relayed my day time running lights.. so idk.. i hope it's just plug and play...

any comments?

please? lol

the ddm kit is plug and play so if the guy who installed your old set did it right, then installing the new set should be as easy as swapping all the connections from the old set to new.

good :)

but to add to the problem.. DDM somehow managed to mix both my home and business address... so the package isn't coming today.. this only happens to me :( lmao..

You may have trouble down the road with your stock wiring and the 55w bulbs. I lost ground on one side with the 55w bulbs. Either get heavy duty harnesses or invest in an HID relay kit to save yourself potential problems down the road.
