making 2.4 galant fast

i got a 2002 es last weekend and now im lokkinf for option's in making it fast the one thing i want to do is get a turbo i was thinking motor build up and a turbo running about 9 to 12 psi i figure that's a 13 sec car w/o nos.

ok if you looking for 13 seconds you arent going to be able to do it with20" rims and I wouldn't suggest the airbags either plus you won't need the header....I am just going by your signature.talk to Shane and Rallifan about NOS they are out Gurus so to speak and DJ Galant and AK1 are 2 of our Turbo guys as of now. takes alot of patients and money to make a 13 second Galant but it can be done. I said I won't stop til I make 300whp

if i were u man, i would get an SDS instead of turbo, if u have the money. Its pretty expensive, but with that, and good internal work, and NOS, you could make 13's easy. Oh yeah, if i were you, the largest i would go for rims is 17, and thats even pushing it. there is a v6 eclipse making 402 bhp...335 at the wheel..on club 3g...maybe a 12-13 second galant CAN exist.....and if u want a fast i4...get rid of the 20s and dont get bags :wink: .

i know im not going to be all that fast with my 20's and bag's but i am going to go through with those but at the same time i want a fast car in the mean time from now until about a year and a half. i was looking at the 2004 for lighning im considering that being my all out hall ass vehical and the galant to be more show than go but that's 18 month's down the road. and in about 5 ill have the bag's and 20's so after all the show part of my car is done i want something lined up for the go. i was reading a thread and people were talking about going quad what is this is it vr-4 or something else please explain. thanks for the reply's ill lokking into the turbo.

Im doing that right now, but thats with the help of Nitrous, i want it either all motor or with a SDS or turbo.. Ohh by the way Censee a 12-13sec Galant does exist, its me..

QUAD how much are they and how much power can i expect from this?

The gains I think are anywhere from 75+ to 100+. I think thats it but be prepard to spend alot of $$$$. Am I right???

Im not to positive on the power gains, would like to see a baseline and then the run with the quad's.. but you will spend a pretty penny on the install though..
