South Florida Mitsu Owners Association (formally club3g FL) is having a BBQ on May 23. Memorial Day weekend. Its in Markham Park in Ft Lauderdale. We're not freeloaders here so bring some shit to share. You can check the post on their forum to see what items they still need.

I think it all started out from someone's unpainted body kit posted on the FL forums, and one of the members got immature about it. Then I don't know how that shit evolved to but it didnt make any sense. Anyhow, hes no longer around. I dont have anything against anyone here, that's why I was one of the 3Gs that went out to the Eclipse/Evo meet in Towers. No problems at all with you guys :cool:

I know 80% of the people there in the FL forums, not everyone is a dick, and from personal experience don't take things too personal comments that is posted on any forums. Everyone has different opinions, and I know there's some exception but most of the time It all depends in how you read things.

Suggest something and I'll let u know. Like I said, if you want to bring you own kind of chips is fine. I was just saying because 5-6 bags of chips should be enough. You can put your money down towards somthing else.

I need more people with Coolers, especially with ICE. I dont know about chicken but I'll be buying some meat to grill in (like an asado for my latino peeps), that means I need some people to chip in :smt002. Ya exactly John.. the 18" turbine produces more power at lower rpm then the usual run of the mill turbines due to its smooth shiny contour and shape with minimum space resulting in a larger surface area...

yea, eclipses are welcome. TGC members are welcome. I picked up a 99 GSX a few weeks ago. The cars in Florida are rust free for the most part. unlike NY

If you're asking if an Eclipse would be welcome to the Eclipse BBQ, you're answer is yes!! Pretty much at this point any Mitsu fan is welcome whether you still have a Mitsu or not. My Eclipse has been gone for 2.5 years now. I'm going out there with my Scion (to carry all the coolers) and my Supra.

yea, the first page is accurate. theres maybe 6-10 people from Orlando who say theyre going to make the drive down but I dont believe them. you can add them into the count if you want.

Don't know if you guys know but I've been our for about 3 weeks, had a terrible accident on my leg and now I can't walk or drive for at least 2 months. Liz(froubaby) will be helping out to gather the last details for this meet. Liz or I will keep you posted.

We're pretty much completed with the things we need, those left out w/o an item we are going to ask to please chip in some $. Because of the hudge amount of cars that we're going to be holding for this meet, most likely going to renting a shelter. That way we dont have any issues with the Markham park people.

Kglenn dont take the statement like that -- we are used to people not showing so that is what is expected. People say oo i am coming and the day of come up with an excuse not to come. We have meets whenever and 10 galants say they will be there but 3 or 4 come out. They are counting people to the T so we cannot rely on people saying they will come and dont come so rather than doing that, we will say the TENTATIVE people cannot be counted -- that way if u come its a plus instead of "O what happend to all those galants that said they were coming ?"

You all know your schedules so govern yourselves accordingly....

With that the more the marrier so we would love to have as much g rides as possible - im pretty sure we omitted one or two that said they were coming on our list too lol.. If your really coming please put your name on the list --

Park entrance fee is $1.50/per person. All State Laws Enforced; no revving engine, no system sound off, screeching of tires, speed limit 15mph is strictly enforced so no speeding, loitering around the cars could get their attention as well. Violating any of the park's law could get you cited and expelled from the park. I/We/Us or anyone attending this event will not be held resposible for your actions if you violate any of the park's law.

Picnic tables are first-come first-served (except picnic shelters by reservation.), Please be on time. If anything is left behind at the day of the meet, we can make a final trip to the grocery store once we gather at the park. Most of you have my number, those who don’t PM me if you need it. What I heard is that the rain should be cleared out by friday, leaving us a small chance of scattered showers for saturday. If anyone who lived down in sfl, knows that here it rains in certain areas no longer than an hour. Even if it rains that day i'm sure we're not going to have a problem. That's one of the reasons we are going to ask to chip in to Rent a pavilon, that will get that rain issue out of the way.
