Got the evo hood, questions bout installing!!!

Hey guys,

I bought the evo hood off of Cali (Noel) and I was going to put it on my car, however before taking my hood off and doing all that crap, I just took one of the bolts out of the stock hood, and brought it inside to test fit it onto the new evo hood. Well they fit but after going half way down, they would just start turning and turning and wouldn't go down anymore. Does anyone know what happened and what I need to do?? Do I need to get different size bolts to put it on the car or shouldn't the same bolts be used on the new hood? Please help me out guys, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

There should have been some washers included with the hood. If they are not there then just buy some shorter bolts like I did or get some washers. IMO I think getting new bolts is better. All these hoods are still made for the JDM Galant so they fit a little diffrent.

If it is the fiberglass hood like mine.. YES you need smaller bolts. the stock ones are too fat..
