I have been keeping tabs on here to find some new ideas for my 7g. I have never heard of someone puting a 02 wrx fron on a 7g. I thought it would look good. I have no photoshop, but here is a rendering I did. Sorry for using your pic, but i needed a front shot in a similar blue.

everyone knows whos car that is...

the 4 hoodpinnnzzzzz gives it off. it adds like 700 horsepower to the mofucking wheels!! lol. jk Peano.

now, that i got that out of my system, that doesnt look halfbad. the bug-eye rexes also have a grille part that might look nice along with the 7GB header panel

I was really contemplating doing this. i just wanted some other opinions before i decided. I know a little about body work, but probably enough to pull it off by myself. I talked to a couple of body shops around town and they want like $2000. Does anybody know ballpark on how long it would take? the subaru is about 1.5 inches wider than the g, and the subaru has the round headlights. Other than that I wouldnt think there was a whole lot more mods to do to it to get it to mount up.

I actually did something similar to my 1g eclipse when I had it. I Put a Legacy bunper on the front. All I had to do was trim the inside of the bumper to clear the crash bar and drill a few mounting holes. Came out really good and was completely different.

I say do it yourself and save a bunch of money. Hell, even if you screw up the first one, you could buy a 2nd and still be ahead of the game.

I had no experience with body work and I pulled off a 8g body kit on my 7g....just takes patience.

I must be the only one who thinks that a 02 wrx front end on a 7g is = wack. I like the 7G front end better. especially G-4-Rim's with just a mugen lip.

i'll go against the grain and say no.

It'll only work if you have the fogs & an intercooler to take up all that mouth area

Go for it... It will be different and may look even better when completed...

how come you never finished it? I was just looking at an eclipse a couple of days ago trying to picture that front on a g. How difficult was the molding of the plastics? I am not 100% but I think the impreza bumper is to wide. it will need about 1" section taken out of the center the molded back together.

I totaly agree on the intercooler. The origonal pic had the fogs in it and I thought they threw off the look. so I erased them. here it is with the fogs and intercooler.
http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c115/kaufmanp/possibility.jpg

The origional pic did not have the intercooler in it. with out an IC the fogs are obnoxious. but with the IC they look much better.

Cali can get the mold made for this, but we need at least 5 dedicated buyers. Anyone interested??
