Does your subwoofer amp have power?

How did they tap in a signal for the subs? Did they tap the rear speaker wires or did they plug it into the back of your aftermarket head unit?

We need a little more info.

the light for my amp is off so i guess thats not working. and for the wires they had to to connect it to speakers by splicing the wires.
but they connected the wires right behind head unit.

also i kept removing the negative battery when trying to put speakers in.

you need to ground your amp, if thats your ground wire thats just laying around you need to bolt that down between some metal.

from the ground wire dangling like that its posible you may have blown your amp...im sure you definately blew a few fuses at minimum

you might of gotten lucky and had your amp go into protection mode before it blew up. But when your amp "blows up" 90% of the time it will start smoking so its hard to miss it if it did blow up

LMFAO!

I was at school when I looked at this and I didn't see the pictures because of the filter.

I almost died when I got home and saw this thread!!!

so i could put the ground wire between a bolt like the one that holds down the chairs and tighten it down?

also make sure you sand down the spot where the ground will bolt to the car, you have to get rid of any paint and be left with bare metal

And don't expect your Wal-Mart Neverstart battery to hold up for very long under the abuse of a system.

wow this thread made my night....lol Though, i would rather recommend grounding somewhere else aside from the back chair bolts. Self tapping screw and a drill isnt hard to obtain to create a good ground to bare metal.
