Why do you want that? Serves no purpose really, and $120 or so you could spend elsewhere, just my opinion.

But do whatever you want, Im sure Cali or someone with auto body experience could mock something up for ya. Possibly you could buy that one and retrofit it to the galant.

it actually does serve a purpose. its supposed to be a little heat sheild that prevents the exhaust tip from heating up the paint and peeling up your bumper. they are usually made of some type of aluminum or other metal, but this one is a carbon fiber looking one obviously for aesthetics.

but yeah i've always wanted one of these for my G. It would sit well on a vr-4 rear bumper.

Oh ok, I guess that makes sense but like you said this one appears to be for show, and ultimately a $120 i would spend elsewhere.

performance wise you are stock, i mean for crying out loud you spent $260 on the GTZ cf interior trim

i would get that bumper guard if they made it for our cars and i would pay that much for it

It serves a purpose no matter the material used to create it. Afterall in this case it IS for a Evolution. The urethane bumper would easily melt under continued heat.

I'll admit, I LOL'd a little.

And look at Dave being all serious and calling an Evo by its full name. ;)

The answer I'm still looking for is... why would you put this on your car? Even if you went turbo or SC, does your tailpipe end right before the start of your bumper? *shrug*

oh wow. that explains it. Dude, all you had to do was explain yourself, dont get butthurt cuz someone said something you didnt like. we're all trying to help you after all.

how loud is your Galant without a catalytic converter?? any resonators or did you delete all those?? how big is the piping...

btw, to keep it from burning your bumper even more, you should probably extend the exhaust a little more so that its not underneath the bumper like that.

my car is quite loud it souds throaty and well ill have to record it soon and post a video.....the total piping is 2.5" all the way back and the cat back exhaust I bought had a resonator as well .....I will extend the exhaust tip this weekend hopefully that resolves the issue, thanks all!!

measure the hole and get a universal one, although i would fix the problem first. the exhaust placement should be out a bit more i would either weld on a tip of some kind or weld on a few inches to extent it a bit

Ya actually somewhat like that, its just a little too small.....I should have the exhaust extended a few inches near the muffler by this weekend so that it matches up with the bumper.....hopefully that resolves my problem! Thanks!

Mine is directly inline with the bumper and doesnt stain the bumper
