Just put an 03 bumper on my 99 GTZ

I put and 03 bumper on my 99 GTZ today and I love it. it will look so much better painted and when I lower the car. My girl said I have a lego car! lol.

If you like it, go for it. I prefer the 99-01 style over this one, but if you like it... then rock it.

I like it better then the stock 99-01 but the 99-01 has more options with grills

99-01 STOCK front end looks "grandma-ish" to me. In my opinion the 02-03 looks WAY better. If I didn't already have an 03 I'd do the same thing you did.:finger:

did u add the "nose" support? it looks like the bumper is drooping in the middle leaving a gap under the middle of the hood's front. the '02-'03 has a metal piece on the radiator support that mounts the bumper behind the "nose" between the upper grills.

try one of the guys that has or is converting a '02-'03 to JDM front end since they have to remove this part to fit their grill... they might have one available or you could probably just make one w/ a "L" bracket from home depot and a drill and some bolts. look behind the bumper nose and u should see some mounting points.

i personally like the 99-01 front end, i have a 2000 with the 02-03 heads, works for me till i go jdm. To each his own tho, i think all 8Gs look sexy tho, No pun to all you other generations tho.

Clip came with the crash bar also, and yes it need to be replaced...
