Does anyone know this car color or what maker/model make close to it?

That is one of the Saab 9-3 Convertible...the color though I am uncertain on because I don't see it listed on the website for them. The closest I would say it is for their color is the Lynx Yellow

That's Photoshopped, sorry. You can tell by the black trim. Saab never made a 9-3 in that color.

They did make this though: http://www.trollhattansaab.net/archives/2007/11/name-your-saab-signature-colors.html

There's a BMW color that they used on the last generation M3 that was similar to that

Just get a custom color. It costs nothing more for a auto body paint shop to mix it up versus an OEM color.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the 350Z did come in what looks like a burnt orange color and it's not as bright as yellow. In the sun, my guess is it'd be a few shades lighter than TJ's pumpkin orange G.

I believe the paint name is "Lemans Sunset Metallic" Nissan Color Code A17

My buddy has that color but its kinda like, how do i put it..... the gloss changes its color and it is hard to paint.

Theres something about custome colors that make me feel uneasy. or more like i just want to see the final product already?

is there a site for auto paint mixing including metallic pearl etc i couldnt seem to fine one searching.

The burnt orange on the 350Z isn't even close... ummm, no offense but a color like that screams GM! to me. But I guess Saab is/was owned by GM.

Check this if you are looking for a high quality paint. http://www.jimmunroe.com/HOK/Index.html Any custom shop that uses House of Kolor can get you any of those colors and more... I'd pick something you really like rather than some OEM's shitty color. There are some nice golds in there.

Plus you can pretty much Google image search any of those color names and you'll get something.

It's probably the photoshop job that screams "GM." My Galant is a GM color.

Yeah, that's my name. Maybe. And yeah my sig changes. It's magic...

Bada bing meaning it's really close to what you posted. Yeah it's House of Kolor Solar Gold Metallic... they have a bunch of them but if you showed that photo to somebody who has their paint mixing system, they could identify it for you I'm sure.

would you consider custom color cheaper then OEM? like if you put it in the logic of Aftermarket color vs OEM. isnt OEM always more expensive?

Paint itself isn't that expensive. You can paint a whole car with 3-4 quarts of basecoat and then as much clear. It's like no more than $500 for good paint. The basecoat for my car was about $350 or so.

Labor is the killer.
