how do I get rid of it? Usually, my seat squeaks when coming to an abrupt stop or going over bumps, it has a weird metallic like sound, something like the keys hitting the steering column. I took it to the dealer and all they did was put some oil on it, that stunk up my freaking car.

it could be a dozen things.

is it sqeaking from the leather? is it something in the track? is it noisy hinges? or noisey springs?

you need to find out where the noise is coming from.

I'll check for it today. I dont have leather seats, its coming from the right hand side of my seat. On sunday night, i was rocking back and forth in the chair to see if I still heard it and it was still there.

I have a similiar problem, and found that it was the seatbelt. When you have the seatbelt on, move the part where it plugs into- this may be the sound. I still haven't figured out how to fix it, and the car is now out of warranty.

Hey smokey ur right. I have the same problem in my front passanger seat. It still makes the funny sounfd but i think its the washers inside the buckle of the seatbelt clamp.
