Yea, all they send you is instructions on how to do the conversion. If you were really interested I am sure you could find the info on the web somewhere.

Anything could be done with the right amount of money for parts. one of those arms that hold up the hood by itself(the like hydrolic ones), a real heavy duty one to hold the door weight so u can lift it with ease and it stays up...a hinge welded on...probly have to do some body work at the lifting point to get the hinge and the angle of lift on it. Defintly possible, not a simple weekend thing I dont think. If I had a garage and a junk car id give it a shot.

This guy in my neighborhood has a 4door civic and he shaved to door handles, and I think just bondo'd the rear doors up and got it painted. So basically from the outside it looks like a long 2door car. If you ask me looks kinda retarded, and also wtf does that do for you do u know what a bitch it would be to get into the backseat now lol

I got a response from the guy I emailed:


all he did was take the info from 1 site and the pics from both sites and put them on a disk. the disk in no way showed in detail how to convert your 300zx doors or anyother car in detail . if you have a honda, acura or civic there are direct bolt on kits available for your cars. no cutting, no welding or repainting which is what you have to do if you use a universal door kit or use the door hinges the cd talks about.
go here if you have a anything made by honda www.decah.net they sell the direct bolt on kits and there the only ones making them right now. the cars on those ebay adds are cars that are similar to hondas so they just used the brackets made for hondas, civics and acuras. most small cars can use these kits with a little modifying thats why you see mitsubishis etc. all the honda, acuras etc. you see them selling the cd for on ebay are pics of cars that were done with the decah kit. the other site is www.iserv.net/~strdream if this is for a 300zx you need the type1-b4 kit for $649 or the 1 for $685 i comes wth 2 door shocks and the other comes with 4 door shocks either will work..

On a 4 door car, the rear passenger doors open the opposite of how they would normally open. See below for example.
