So i put on the Mugen llip today.stil not done i gotta take it out and do some touch ups here and their..not good pics but

Need ur guys's opinions on what i should do leave it black or will it look better color matched.thanx in advance guys

I vote for leaving it black.

I also vote painting the inner part of that bumper black as well and maybe putting some screen there to match your grill.

The white inside of that big open space that you cut out really doesn't flow well with the lip imo.

Seems to me like the only thing not meant to be painted in CF lol

My suggestions:
1. Keep it black, paint the lower part of your rear bumper black, and the sides around the same height black. Do a lower two-tone. It would look sick.

2. Color match it, fill in the space with a nice white billet grill, or white mesh, and be done.

I am all for option #1 here man. The black gives the front end a nice sharp contrast look, and if you paint the bottom grill black or do mesh black it will look great IMO.

BTW, Where can I find myself one of these lips anyways?

Thanks guys i like the black look alot but i want it to be clean as well im leaning to color match and put mesh in.well see imma see if i can get the exact color of it..i picked mine up here locally but u can get one on ebay.just put 98-01 integra lip

painted it black and added black mesh for now,paint guy wanted 50 something for a can of my paint..imma seee if i can find it somewhere else

The unpainted black look just doesn't work on white. Just looks like you were too lazy to color match it.

You can get away with it for now, but prob would look better color matched. Paint the lip first, see how it looks then decide from there if you want to paint the grille. IMO you could swing the look if the lip was wrapped in CF, but just flat or gloss black doesnt look as good. Also u know if youre gonna paint it yourself that it wont match the original pearl paint unless you a three stage paint like a a body shop would or should do. I believe it goes base, pearl, then gloss. Otherwise it will look nasty and wont blend in.

Why not photoshop it color matched before you make a decision. I personally think it would look better the same color as the car, but the final decision belongs to you. If I ever put the Mugen lip on my car (scared it's gonna bottom out badly) I'd leave it as is, but my car is off-black, so it wouldn't be as noticeable as on a lighter color car like yours.

Well to tell you the truth.. you white will cost a little more.. I would charge you maybe 60 as a side job, cash no tax. but going through the shop managment.. you maybe looking at 100 or so.

which.. if you can, I say do it. Auto body repairs tend to charge less than performance shops for paint and shit liek that, so i suggest going that way. I don't knowhow pricing goes in the states.. but here in canada 100 seems fair.

go get some quotes and before you commit come back to us and let us know.

If I remember right you have the same color I have the Dover White Pearl right? When I got my bumper painted they told me a regular paint job would cost $200, but bcz of my pearl paint it would cost me $300. So def expect to pay more for the original color.

You have more chance scrapin the lip than the skirts tho... Leave the grill for now, looks good.
