New 8G Taillights available!

These look pretty dope, like some Lexus taillights or something! Ive never seen these before, nice alternative from JDM's, USDM's, and the God-awful TYC's.

I would love to have these if I had about an extra $200! I saw them @ Depo Auto Lights website... Also they said no Mods required.

Yeah I've seen those before, if I recall someone tried to fit those and they needed to be modified to work? Not 100% sure.

I don't feel like searching, but I believe you need the trunk lid from the Taiwanese Galant to make those tails in the first post fit.

repost, yeah those are the Taiwan domestic market tails, and if you look you'll see they are shaped differently b ecause of their trunk design, you would need a trunk from a TDM galant to make it work, although that would be sick, I don't think anyone has ever actually made them work

i posted these taillights years ago. everyone said youd need a different trunk. i dont see it but everyone else does so i believe them. someone should try it though

I was thinking the same thing, I dont see how if the have JDM tails fit why these wont. I'd like to see some pics of these not fitting if possible. I'd might want these in the near future...

This was discussed many years ago, the trunk lid on the TDM galant is different from the JDM/USDM. Wont work, unless you get the deck lid also.

in taiwan they released a galant 8.5G. it was a more "luxurious" version of the 8G. Had slight cosmetic changes. My chinese is crappy but I think I read that you can swap in the TDM trunk with TDM tails. you can also try a TDM front end conversion. you would need the headlights, grill, and bumper.

Dude, I think the TDM galants are sick! No one has it, and it would definetly stand out. If anything ever happened you would have to go back to stock,though.

taiwan is LHD... i have original version taiwanese headlights (look just lke JDM 1-piece) on my car so the beam pattern is correct.
