TGCIL/WI Chi-city meet. 6-28-09 **Attendance**

The city of Chicago decided to fuck us over and charge us $1/hour at Foster Beach for our annual summer meet.

So fuck Foster Beach and let's have our annual meet anyway.

At last years Foster Beach meet, Tricky and his brother eatsleepjdm showed us this little chill spot that is perfect for a meet.

When:

Where:
-Northwestern University: Chemical Engineering‎
2145 Sheridan Rd, Evanston, IL 60208

We can meet between 2pm-3pm We will meet at the parking lot and proceed to the "rocks" where we can commence "chillin" status. lol

We can then cruise to the field museum later on and maybe find some photo opportunities. Details on that can be discussed at the meet.

Feel free to bring mini-grilles, cans of pop/soda, etc.

I'm excited, I hope you all are too! =)

Dave just informed me that it's the "Taste of Chicago" event this weekend. The meet is still going down, but wondering if anyone would be interested in adding that to our agenda?

If you've never been, then you should go. But parking will be far from the Taste and ranging from $15-$40 depending on the garage.

However, this means Traffic for some of us... just watch out.

its gonna be packed, idk about heading there with this much cars.. and like what chicago one said parking is hard and expensive. We can park the cars somewhere and take a train and walk from train station to where it is at.

Its not that hard to walk, like less than 2 mi.

I agree about the traffic thing and I definitely dont wanna pay that for parking but at the same time I don't wanna be that far from my g. I am so protective of it.

We can always just stick to the plan just throwing it out there. I do know of this parking garage on Kinzie and LaSalle that we parked at last night that is only $8.00 after 3, But I don't know if I want to leave my Galant there either. I say let's just meet at Northwestern and then go from there.

Skyline and nikki wont make it, im not sure if he's done with the brakes.
