so i took the car in to the shop, and they replaced a pulley and a belt. The car is all set in regaurds to the steering, and grinding sounds, but there is still an engine problem. The engine will cut out for like half a second, and then the check engine light comes on, and goes off a second later. Also when accelerating hard from low speeds the engine sounds like is it holding back, and it makes a muffled sound and then accelerates out of it. ideas??? i was thinking what smilley said about my car being involved in a flood could be exactly what's going on.
