So for a while I had grease coming out of my Cv axle boot which ripped and eventually forgot about it, and now I think all the grease is gone because when I turn the wheel my passenger side wheel makes this creaking noise and doesnt sound good.....is it too late to replace the boot and fill with grease? how hard is it to do this, can i do this on my own without going to a auto shop? i found the boot on ebay for 14.99 and includes grease, this part is only a year old :3d:

should be fairly easy to do, but for all the time wasted just get a reman axle for like 50 bux and change the whole thing.

I agree, just get a re-manufactured axle.

yea because the dirt might of pitted the joint prety good. that last thing you want is for your axel to snap.

i say spend the extra 10 bucks and get a new axle.. and it doesnt take long for the joint to wear out.. mine was ripped for a month and i couldnt save it
