Looks great. Just be wary of anything curb level that'd eat those things away. There's no meat on those tires!

Dope!

They gotta be a pretty low offset to to be hitting the the rear suspension on the inside edge.

Very nice drop! Nice staggered setup! offset? I thought 19X9.5 will not fit the galant.

They are work vs-xx 19x8.5/9.5. Front is +40 and rear is +45 with 7mm spacers. Fenders were rolled of course. Car is dropped on airrunner, tires are 225/35/19.

Thanks guys. I just borrowed these wheels for a show that we had to do because my new ssr wheels didn't make it in time. My new rears will be slightly less aggressive, 19x9 +37. With these works, I couldn't fully tuck without damging my rear bumper. With the new wheels, I should be able to drive tucked, also gonna be running a smaller tire 215/35/19. I'll keep you guys posted.

I wish I could have found 9.5s that fit, but oh well, I'll make do with my 9s in the back. how much clearance do you have in the rear?

2kgalant
06-23-2009, 03:30 AM
There is not much clearance in the back...it's tight! When I slam the car, it pretty much goes fender to lip.

If thats your everyday driver there is no way you could get away with that height in Louisiana. I have a 1" gap in the front and back and thats pushing it with the condition of our roads.:thumb_rsvd:

I have airrunner suspension, so it's not a problem. I don't ride at that height.

I'm glad so many people like these, because I don't. The rims are nice, but I can not stand the stretched tire look. It has to be one of my worst pet peeves when it comes to cars.

looks good! when u get the new set of SSR, stick w/ 225. 215 is TOO small for 9" (heavy stretch and little sidewall height). 225 should leave enough room to flush stretched. i've always loved those VS-SX... those were in my top 3 choices when i ordered my wheels... classic and aggressive; problem is they are also a little too popular for my taste.

it's on AIR RUNNER (he posted his setup earlier in the thread), so he can raise it in a matter of seconds to drive around.

How much would that setup cost?

How much would that setup cost?

u'd have to ask the OP but my quick guesstimate is a few grand. bags aren't cheap and AIR RUNNER is in the upper range.

EREBUNI 384 (company out of business) which was a galant version of an EVO VI rear bumper.
