Well i got a 98 es and it drives good as hell to be stock and 150,000 miles on it. The motor was is in very good condition. But i wanted to know what i can do to this motor to improve performance as well as power. Its an automatic so i'm not too sure on all the options. The plan is to take care of the motor first and make sure the transmission is good and then work my way to the suspension and wheels and then to the interior and exterior. So do you guys have any ideas for me? This project is gona happen really quickly so i need all the input i can get. Thanks

motor has many possibilities.. turbo, dohc swap, intakes etc.. now the auto tranny is notorious for failing and i recommend 5 spd swapping it before you really persue building it ( ive been through 4 auto trannies in the past 2 year)

now suspension id drop it and get some nice wheels 17s cuz 18s seem 2 big on a 7g IMO.. rear sway bar from a 94 gs or eclipse GST like i have

if you drop it you can use 2g eclipse suspension parts as well as it is the same thing.. i have a full 2g tokico suspension and 17 inch rims heres a few pics

my first mod was the strut, spring and sway bar upgrade
kyb gr2, st spring and 95 2g rear sway bar.
After that, the car is no longer mistushity. They are SMOOTHHHHHH...!
