View Full Version : Super VR4 picture request.

Hey fellas, I need some help. Can anyone with some pix of all and any angles of a Super VR4 Galant, please post them here or at least a link? I know there are several members that used to be on here with these kits, but I can't find too many pix now. I used to have a whole file, but the laptop with those pix got fried. So I'm starting over again. I really need those pix cause I've finally started to get my kit installed and my paint & body man wants to see some pix so he knows what I'm trying to do. So any help I can get will be great. It seems there was a blue one on here with a Monster hood and billet grill installed, but I can't really remember.

whokilledhoughes has the front end right now, there is also a pic in the sig of one of the florida guys of a vr4, cant remember his sn tho

This was GalantESP's Galant with USDM bumper and Super VR4 kit. You might remember it...

Thanks for the help fellas. You've provided me with just the pix and names I needed. I couldn't remember Kalamidad's name, but he was the guy's car I was thinking of. Also, I needed that pic of the white VR4 with the flares. That's the exact I was going for. Glad all you guys helped me out.

The dealership is about a mile from my house. That one had gone for a manual conversion and full respray (since they only came in silver and red).

Not a Super, wrong side skirts, wrong colour.

Red or Silver they came in, the red one is a genuine Super

Gah! The old owner just went through and deleted all the photos of the red Super VR4 galant! I will ask him for the photos and get them re-hosted.

haha you know we're just bustin. I'd love to see some super vr4 pics. I know there's a hot pic of a red svr4 around somewhere.

Damn, the color-matched heads on a silver car don't look so bad, wonder why I haven't seen it more often.

because the only version of the 8G that had color matched headlights was the SUPER VR4 (and the super vr4 was a very limited edition; there are no super vr-4's in the US).

True, true, though I meant why haven't more people done that mod, but the more I think of it, unless you retrofit or something, not many folk will actually split their heads to color-match the shroud.

actually some members have color matched their headlights, both 7G and 8G. off the top of my head, 4GRIM, MROD, HONDAKILLERGTZ and CARDUDE03.

Yes I think I've seen M-Rod's white and HondaKillerGTZ's red, I wonder if silver has been done often though, that color looks nice. I have a gray car, so my '03's already color-matched:orangeyes:

umm never was a real need for anyone to do silver since they could just use '99-'01 heads which are chrome inside.

True, but silver is not as glossy, it's more understated than chrome, not so reflective, but I see what you're saying, fam.

Looks much better than mine did. When I did it, I kept wondering how it would look on a better color than white. It looks good on GTZ's, but I don't think it would look good at all with the chrome grille cars. They would need to color-match their grille as well to pull of the look.
