Will a cold air intake for a 4 cylinder work on a v6?

I have been trying to find the right CAI for a while now and I find a whole bunch that are for the 4 cylinder, but I have a v6. I was wondering if one for the 4 cyl will work for a v6 as well?

no name ebay ones fit both v6 and i4. Brands like Injen and AEM have models that includes mounting brackets made specifically for an i4 and a v6
