lips?

so i know that the 99-01 g's can fit the integra lip on with minor mods and just bending it in a little and the civic lip which requires extending. so my question is how come the integra lip won't fit on our 02-03 g. the length and stuff should be the same except for the grille which is it's own piece on the 99-01. does anyone have an answer for this and yes i have done some research.

yeah i've been questioning that myself...i bought the civic lip yesterday and about to bring it to my friends shop so they can extend it for me but having the integ lip would be so much simpler...

The shape of the bottom of the 02-03 bumper is different than the 99-01 I believe. The 02-03 is wider I believe, and also possible longer (side view)

lets just put it this way
the bottom of the 02-03 bumper is more of a rectangle, whereas the 99-01 is more of a pentagon, but they are both the same overall width

i was thinking that if you did have and integra lip and wanting to put it on your 02-03 g's then you could just heat it and just form it to fit your g's front. i personally think that it wouldn't really matter about what shape your bumper is but what it takes to make it fit right. anyone on this with me and know what i mean.
