ive never seen that setup till i saw an old acura vigor. how is it possible that the axles connect to the block like that

since there is a lack of space, the splined shaft that the axle connect to goes thru the pan, there is no other way to run it, its a custom one off dry sump pan setup. its a dry sump so the pan is more of a cover, the oil is in constant circulation throughout the system when the engine is running and there is a seperate oil canister mounted in the passenger side fender area.

The Legend did the same thing.
The legend actually had a water cooled differential. how badass is that? I always loved how over-engineered those cars were
