Alright so I'm in the process of getting all my JDM parts put on. The only thing I needed to check was if I had all the right stuff to wire them up.

I just bought:
- 2x H7 headlight sockets
- A box of 1/4" Female disconnects (Serves as H1 socket from what the guy told me)
- 14 Gauge Black wire
- 14-16 Gauge Wire crimpers (Butt connectors)
- H7 and H1 Bulbs

Sound good to you guys who did it already?

Well, I hope I am not missing anything, TGC seems rather dead at the moment.

I plan on connecting them up tomorrow or Saturday so let me know guys!

all u really need is 2 h7/h1 harnesses, they are the same, the h4 stock harnesses double back as h7 and h1 harnesses as well u just gotta move the low beam wire off the stock harness to the new harness and split the grounds, and ur done...if u wanna make the highs and low light up at the same time u gotta follow the tutorial

Alright, I just tried to see if the H7 harness I bought fit into the bulb and it doesn't fit. There is another plug attached to the actual H7 bulb and H1 bulb. What the hell is that thing?

Here's a picture:

they are adapters, use h4 harnesses without any problems

So what do you do with the adapter? Chuck em? Or do you need them to make a seal with the rubber gasket?

u need them to keep the light in the socket, it'll be loose otherwise

That's what I figured. So what plugs into that adapter? The ol' H4 plug does? Are the prongs that wide to fit the adapter?

The H7 adapter I bought could almost fit both prongs. It only needed to be a couple millimeters longer.

u can bend the h7 prongs in if u have to, they will fit, but the h4 ones fit perfectly,
