View Full Version : Front Bumper Question!

Just tried to search for it on JDM conversion threads but couldn't find the exact answer.

On the OEM bumper (I have a '01 front end), there is a black metal bracket that attaches to the top of the bumper. Does this need to be modified to fit on the old style JDM bumper, or does it just fit right on it. Or does the JDM one even need it.

you will have to drill a hole in the metal support for the frin bolt...other then that it is fine

For the frin bolt? What's that? Was that a typo for front?

no it does not need to be modified to fit the any other bumper, but the problem you might have is that the grill will not sit properly. you can have someone cut it off, unless you plan to go back to the 01 oem bumper.
