i bought a levoc shifter off ebay and have one problem it says it will fit our vehicle but the opening for the shaft is a tad bit too small.. the guy refunded me most of the money and let me keeep the shift knob since he messed up so i got the knob for real cheap...

so the question is does anybody know an efficient way to bore the opening a little wider so it will fit any suggestions are welcome lol

anyone with a lathe tool can bore out the hole within minutes. Ask a machine shop or your local auto part store if they can bore it out for you.

You kinda half to ask the manager if they have one in the backroom. It's mainly used for turning brake rotors.

i bought one a while back and all i had to do was dremel it. if you do dremel it then just focus more at the opening because once you have dremeled the plastic around the opening and you can see the metal or other plastic then just stick something in the hole and pry out the extra plastic that is to small for your shifter. after that it should fit.

Well, the one I have is for Nissan/Toyota w/OD. Looking on the Napolex website, that knob (LV-451) has a 15mm inside diameter. The ones labled for Mitsubishi seem to have a smaller inside diameter.

Here is a pic of mine:
