ok, 2 weeks ago i made a custom cai, and im worried, when i did it, i relosated my battery to the back, cut out what was underneath it, and i took a cylinder shaped theing with tubes coming out of it so i could fir the front mount cai ..............................does n e 1 know if i needed that part?please reply with anything!

Part of your evap system. It's for emissions. Leave it alone, or you'll never pass smog.

Isnt that the charcol canister? If it is and you remove it your gonna smell gasoline all the time when you drive. That can absorbs the vapors you dont really "need" it, though it might be smarter to just relocate it somwhere else.

If its right under the battery its the EVAP canister.
