Tailights

I tinted my taillights on my own but the dilemma is people have trouble actually seeing the lights. I think it looks fine but people flash me the brights and tell me my lights aren't on lol.

Is there a brighter taillight bulb i can use without getting HID's which would be too bright?

you can get LED's in your tail lights, HID's go in your head lights...

^thats why I was like WTF? If its your tails maybe you shouldn't of tinted them too dark. Got any pics?

lol no i asked and they said they could get an HID kit for the taillights but they would be way too bright. Im not sure LED's will cut it so im going to do some LED's outside the housing and have them wired to go on with my brakes so far but idk if it will be enough to stop me from getting pulled over.

who is "they" because I have never heard of HID's in brake lights...and LED's can get pretty bright! My friends TC has every light blacked out and his LED's shine right through.

i have HIDs in my reverse light. HIDs for brake lights wouldn't work so well. first of all, the brake lights would be too slow since you'd have to wait for the HIDs to fire. then the brakes are off and on all the time so you'd klll your hids in notime.

How bright are they?

Would they be to bright to put them in my taillights and not my brake lights?

And how much brighter would the LED's be than the regular bulbs.

Ive seen LED bulbs in regular sockets. But im not shure if they will lightbright enough :S Need pictures!!! :D

That's why you DON'T tint your taillights.
