throttle body mod

i read about that throttle body mod and i forgot where it was so i have to post a new one.
i went to tighten my TB cable and it's pretty damn long either way i go it still sags about 2 inches. would it hurt if i cut it down? or should i just leave it?

You also should have a cruise control cable right next to it so don't get them mixed up
