I prefer them wingless. Are they going to offer the five-speed with the MR this year or not??

Mitsubishi has no plans whatsoever to offer a standard 5 speed in the MR model at all. Its only available in the GSR and possibly the RS model if they
decide to offer that here in the states.

I do like that they installed the RA taillights on the 2010 Evo X...they look much better.

I like driving a stick and all, but the transmission on the MR makes the car faster in every conceivable way.

I think the rear end looks funny without the rear spoiler :O

They have the wing on the GSR and MR the MR touring does not have the wing.

I saw the wingless at MOD when they had the touring model out. Looks nice.

I'm really diggin the Lancer Sportback ralliart. Looks like a badass little car.
just needs a bigger turbo and injectors.

I've seen 4 EVO X's so far that removed their own wings and also an EVOVIII and it looks better to me

The Evo x look really badass with out the wing, and lowered, but really pricy...also the lancer sports back. Really nice looking car but I think they jack up the price to much...other than that goo mitsubishi.

wingless looks pretty clean. not as clean as a wingless 05 STI though.

i like the ralliart sportback, but it reminds me too much of a Focus RS for some reason.

ew. Wingless 05 STi's look like regular Outback Imprezas IMO. Atleast the EVO's look like EVO's even when theyre wingless.

there is a SICK looking octane blue evo X near me that has a super aggressive stance and sick wheels.. overall the car looks freakin awesome and the wingless look compliments it well. I think it only works in certain cases though, as I love the wing.

but ALL trims of the lancer now come with the ralliart taillights

the one in my neighborhood was completely blacked out (even black HID housing) and slammed to the ground. even my dad (who hates imports) said it was a cool car.

oh, and i lied, it was an 06, not 05.

It needs to come off the line with more of a drop.

its a rally car though. all my subie friends bash the evo because it has too much of a street look to it. im kinda glad that it sits up a little higher.

EvoX definitely does look sexy once you've given it a nice drop on nice rims...

This is so true. I worry that if I do end up getting an MR my friends will laugh at my automatic car, but the technology in this transmission is far superior to any shifting capability/speed of a human being.

In heavy traffic, I think it would be beneficial too. Plus, although most of the fun of the manual is lost, you have both the paddle and console shifter options.

Anybody know if the MR transmission requires any significant maintenance? I wonder how many miles it is built for....
