Headers Then? $1000 to spend.

I think i have changed my mind from turbo to Headers for my 3.8, I'm going to go the way of the header. RRE Shorts, and possibly Ripp Longs and of course Hi flow cats. From what i have read and seen, If i go long i wont be able to put all the cats in there place?. and if i go short, I don't know which cat or cats to leave out. any input would be appreciated, Please state your engine and model? and opinion.Thanks all!

I do not know about these but a buddy bought a set for his Ford truck and they were nice.

i just may get them, go over them and do some more welding to the flanges, but i think they will work, aemF/c i can get, and i think I'm do for a new throttle body, to top it all off.

yea i have the prototype for RRE headers for our cars... if your gonna run Ripp headers why not just go with them in the first place... However, i read a while back Ripp having fitment issues and am not sure if that was ever resolved. as for the the obx headers, doesnt fit our cars nor the 4g's. A couple members have purchased the obx and realized the downpiping and some certain bends are wrong or backwards.

i say Go with RRE all the way!!!!! There are a couple 9gs now that are having headers with nothin but great news. However dont be surprised if the check light goes on once in a while
