Hey guys, so the lifter tick is just driving me crazy already! I've tried the oil additives and those only worked temporarily. Can I just take it to my mechanic already? What would I tell him that I need done exactly? Is it gonna be costly?

have him inspect it. they told me sometimes draining the oil will fix it, but mine starting to get bent, so i had them replace everything. cost me $530 at the mitsu dealership.

put some seafoam in the oil, and drive it for a day, and change oil. It fixed mine
