I want to put a 63 head on my 64 but i don't know which 63 would be better a 6 bolt or 7 bolt. I've read on dsm forums and they say a 6bolt would be better because you could get crankwalk out of the 7 but they also say the 6would be more difficult and doesn't give out as much hp as a 7 would, which do y'all think would be the best fit?

I'd start by asking what are you trying to accomplish with the car?

If you want to race, then sell the Galant and buy something else.

...and you better not be street racing.

also if u do ur research u'd realize that the 8g cant use the 1g or 2g heads and crankwalk isnt an issue....

crankwalk has nothing to do with the head. and in any case any motor can crankwalk

if your serious about building the motor you will search and find what you need

What clear road are you talking about where cars dont go most often but cars still come around....I dont believe that theres a clear road for two people to race their cars all the time. Street racing is childish and stupid and your going to do nothing but hurt either yourself or someone else. Take it off the streets and stop following what those Honda people do on youtube....racing in their own neighborhood.

if you knew anything at all.. youd never mention street racing and youd realize the 63 that is orientated in the same dirrection as the 8g 64 is the EVO and you can use other heads as well

I don't know much about the 63 so i have been researching and i bought a book trying to learn as much as possible about it and what type of swap i should go with. has it gave any of you any useful info the name is how to build a max performance 4g63t. and i am about to start other alternatives instead of street racing.

It really sounds like your not ready to take on a task on building your car....why dont you just stop......relax and slow down....and back up a min and learn some more before you really do damage to your car buddy
