I know the 2g setups for suspension fit the 7g, is there and thing that needs to be done or is it just a direct bolt on? found a set I like and want to know before I waste any money. found a good price, if anyone has any info in these, like they suck or something then let me know.

every eclipse to date... has been drafted from the previous year galant chassis.

89 6g galant: '90 1g eclipse
94 7g galant: '95 2g eclipse
99 8g galant: '00 3g eclipse
04 9g galant: '06 4g eclipse

Every eclipse is drafted from a galant chassis.
so all of your suspension parts will swap over from the respective generations of eclipse:galant as well as galant:eclipse.

So to answer your question, if it is for the 2g eclipse suspension, it will in fact fit your car with no extra modification

sweet thanks. I would also assume that the trims make no difference then. IE 2G GSX to galant

no real difference. only thing in that situation that would matter is the rear wheel bearing would be different in the sense that its designed to accept an axle. but it would still work(provided you wanted to go 5 lug)
some trims have better specs.

You can use a gsx sway bar, but it has different bends to it. It will work fine with your stock everything, but say you went with a beefy 3" exhaust you may run into problems with the exhaust hitting the swaybar.
So to make things simpler, just get parts for the 2g fwd

I think MKO found a way around the gsx sway...8G 18mm sway... and this is entirely off subject but where did you get your rims?

I like the look of the drop GT10, needs like 1/2 inch wheel spacers but still looks sweet
