front motor mount from 8g on 7g

Would a 8g front motor mount fit on a 7g because it looks all most the same. But the 8g's are a little more slim to the 7g.

Even if it bolted up if its not as wide youd need the transmission or motor perch (idk how the 8g mounts) for it to work right. Thats like the difference between the 7g auto and 5 speed mount.
