kits on the 8g are either good or bad.. if you have the money and if i had an 8g id get a vr4 front and sides grille 2nd gen tails and head lights.. basically what imdoing with my 7g

the vr4 fitment just seems much cleaner than a body kit IMO. most others will agree

I used to watch my friend do stuff to his Lancer. He thinks he's hot s*** now and he's taking auto classes too. In a course of a year, the thing is falling apart it seems. He hates the car. Since i got my G, he wants me to open the hood to look at it and tell me what i need to do. Our cars are more like the Eclipses, not Lancers.

It's always nice to recieve advice, just be careful of what you do.

As for "ambitions" haha, I am doing the dark tint, rims, and intake by the end of the year. Might even drop it two inches. I already got the subs. :spin:

Same. Just the woofers, Pioneer deck, all the speakers are still stock. I took all the bass out of them. Highs aren't so great, so i want some tweeters. That'll be a new thread....

I've had my galant for nearly a year, I wouldn't trade it for anything (within equal value, obviously i'd take a car worth a lot more).

I've only made audio mod's as of now, because I can't afford to do too much and I have to replace my timing belt very soon. (overdue) Still, stock or not I receive compliments all the time on how amazing the car looks, such as the front grill/headlights combo. And mine is only the DE with a few trimmings (used rental car) so I actually have the spoiler, only wish I had the STOCK fogs. - anyone in NY area 716 available to help with that??

dont put a body kit unless its a vr4 kit, and put about 17" or 18" rims with low profile tires and do a 2" drop and it looks really good. thats what i have, everyone says it looks mean. and i think im the only person that likes neons on here so i say go for it but if you do please dont get shitty leds or cheap neon get ones that light up the entire area around your car but if you do stuff like this please do something to the engine to make if fast cause you dont want to be all show and no go, so turbo the thing if you got the money.
