View Full Version : Rear Speaker wires?

Im having problems locating the wires (+,-) of the rear speakers..after i looked around the magnet of the speakers, i did not find the positive, negative connections of their wire...anyone know where they located and how can i access them to connect my amp.?

are you trying to connect an after market amp to your factory speakers?

yeah! to the rear speakers but somehow the speaker wiring aren't showing inside the trunk...

2 things a) factory speakers have plugs b) you don't hook an after market amp to factory speakers

yeah^ pretty much. If you want to amp something, amp some aftermarket speakers.

no lie...i was actually thinking of doing it my self cuz dam!....those speakers play SWEEETTT!! (for stock speakers that is).....but i really nt goin do it, 25 watts kinda too low, goin get some eminence, anybody know the diameter for the speakers in the back dash?...im guessing the ones in the front doors are 6"s

anybody?

Search....fronts are 6 3/4" and rears are 6x9

Also if you are going to be hooking up an amp to the speaker wires in the back make sure you get a converter. And good idea not to hook an amp to the stock speakers they would blow pretty fast.
