As some of you, or most of you have seen my few posts on here and if not maybe have known me from Club 3G.

Well, it might not be too far in the distant future that I will be looking for a new DD and I am really starting to lean toward a Galant. :-) I have rode in a few and know they are nice solid, trustworthy cars...then not to mention seeing what you all have done to yours helps out even more.

I however will still be keeping the 3G, cause the girl doesn't owe me anything; but this is what I will replace.

1994 Chrysler New Yorker
3.5L V6 with around 205,000 Miles on it.

She is a very clean car, and hardly any rust on it for the year. I love how roomie the car is and have done my best (since I have bought it offf my mother, who is also anal about her cars.) to keep it as clean and nice as I can. Although it is getting to the point where I am putting a lot of money into her as far as maintenance, and just little odds and ends to keep her nice and up to date. Just thinking I better start thinking about selling her before I won't be able to.

So does anyone have anything to suggest? :dunno:

ah man thats tough, this car that youre selling has 200k+ miles lol.. im not a fan of this style car either.. if you're going dd with the galant, just get the 6 cyl. if you plan on modding, then well its up to you. highly recommend 6cyl for daily.

welcome to tgc!

Have you looked at any for sale yet? Post them up if you do and we can help you decide. :)

Are you looking for a V6 or the 4 Cylinder? Either way there is a TON of stuff both are capable of, plus knowing how much you have done to your 3g the Galant will be nearly the same to work on under the hood and stuff.

Welcome to the site too man

Thanks all, I haven't made the switch yet, but am getting the bug more and more each day. I was thinking as far as model a something newer where I don't have to do a lot of upkeep trying to keep it on the road...just like now.

Thinking of a decient late model 8G or a older model 9G, around 2003-2005, leather, power windows and locks, GTS, a sun roof isn't a big thing but if it has it, I will take it. I do like Rick's 9G, the way he has it done and the looks. If I got it and wanted to mod it a bit, I would prob just do around what he has...

- CAI
- Exhause
- Heads/Tails.... maybe.

It just depends on what I see and find.... Again it will be my DD and my 3G will still be my toy. So the mods will be very light. :)

Welcome to the family bro.

Haven't made it here yet my man.

Well I did talk to my dealer the other day, told him I was looking for a newer DD. Told him I wanted a Galant...

- White
- Black Leather
- GTS
- Miles are not too much of an issue
- V6
- Somewhere around $10-$11K. Lower is good, but nothing higher!
