What's the best way to go about installing these? Should I just burn the old rubbe out on the ones that replace the rubber with solid prothane?

that's one way but it's messy and stinks like burnt rubber. I cut mine out with a sawzall and cut the press ring a little more than half way through then split it with a hammer and thin cold chizel. Took 10 min a piece doing it this way...

I used an air hammer to get the metal ring out, it took me about 10 mins.

Alright so whats the trick to pressing the inserts into the rear mount?

i used air hammer along with a sawzall i basically cut the middle out then i cut into the side about half way or so and then hammered the end in and made it collapse and it falls out

to put the new ones in you need a shop press.
well actually this is according to a 3G tutorial:
Insert the new mounts using a rubber hammer and a lot of pushing! (Grease helps, or any other kind of lube you got laying around ) It takes some work with the single piece mounts. The two piece mounts are really easy to put together.

The only mount that's was a problem was the rear mount. On the 4cyl it's an insert that pretty much just fills up the gaps in te stock rubber. Only problem was that I had to trim alot of the stock material away to get the insert to fit. I worked on that with the dremel for a few hours, it was a pain in the ass
