I'm new to the mitsubishi community, used to be a mazda veteran. I got a question though, I noticed on Advanced Auto Parts when it ask which engine you have it says "G" for the 2.4l and "H" for the 3.0l. Then I looked at the car's VIN # tht I'm looking to buy which were listed as "V6" but one had a "G" in it and one had an "H". So should I go with the one with the "H" to know i'm actually getting the V6 model?

Welcome to the forums. First things first, don't trust Advanced Auto Zone's website. What position in the VIN are you looking at? This link may be of some help.

Other than that, your best bet for finding out if the car has a V6 is popping the hood. :)

Thanks tht helped alot! I didn't find my answer but thts because i think my question was a lost cause. Can't tell the engine from the VIN lol. Oh well! I've noticed though, there isn't alot you can do to the V6 8G's is there? Performance wise

Welcome to TGC, and good decision on choosing the G for your next driving platform. If done right...you won't be dissappointed.
