HI, I was just wondering what type of gas mileage everyone is getting. This will give me a good idea of what mods to do and don't do.

Please post your year, engine size, mods(Cold air, Perf. Plugs/Wires, Flywheel, etc..) transmission, tire size, and driving styles.

Are you talking about getting more or less gas mileage?

I haven't got my car on the road yet so I don't know its gas mileage, I was hopping to see what everyone is getting so i can get an estimate, with the poll, what would give better gas mileage.

I get 19 on purely city and I get 25 on the high way on most weeks I am near 21 I have 4 cyl 2003 with open air filter 225/45-17 on Konigs lowered on teins and I dont drive too easy either I usually am hitting around 3500 rpm on a normal acceleration. Running OEM copper plugs from NGK and tune up was done around 4000 miles ago. Oil is done every 3500 with Mobil 1 10w30.

Things that can affect gas mileage. Dirty oil, need plugs and tune up, dirty air filter(mine needs to be cleaned I have K&N). Tires and weight of the wheels can affect it as well. If tires have a bad rolling resistance the gas mileage will drop. Normal stuff like that.

I believe Stewi is still getting close to 19 with his 369 hp turbo set up.

27 mpg highway with the 6G74 Swap (6g72 injectors used)
this basically includes a short-ram intake (stock intake with MAF adapter)
stock CA exhaust except a Magnaflow Muffler

I don't have any mods but I have maintained it well. Like basic tune up NGK spark plugs & wires, oil/filter change, 1 routine o2 sencor was replaced and new tires. Thats all and I like to think I get 18 mpg (city) & 30 mpg (highway). But then again its a 3.0 V6 with 135k on my odometer chances are it could be off :P lol

Stock 4 cyl with only an intake. Normally I get about 20 city I had the stock intake tube with just a cone filter on the end, just changed over to the injen short RAM was about the same mpg, not quite sure.

but last time I got 14mpg city, really heavy foot because I like the new noise it makes, and with the cold winter air she pulls a bit harder now, almost wanted to hook up the CAI for the hell of it, but fear I might get worse mileage. so I need to lighten my foot up and see what I really get.

22 city 25-35 hi way (even at a steady 70 on the hi way for long and short distances). slow acceleration off the line and i drive 5+/- over the speed.... SRI and stock everything else (wheels tires etc..) new plugs help burn fuel more efficiently
