Hey, my name is Alex. I am 18 and planning on purchasing a 01 Mitsubishi Galant for my first vehicle. The vehicle has 98,000 miles on it right now. I am contemplating if it will cause problems in the near future(i need it to last at least 4-5 years at the least). Everything sounds & runs great and I really want an opinion of someone that already has this vehicle. They are selling it for 4500 but I bet I can get it for 200-500 lower. The vehicle is silver with no scratches or dings. This is the first time I ever dealt with a car salesman, so what do you guys think?(should i buy.) What should I keep in mind if purchasing?

Just make sure the timing belt has been serviced, everything else is not that expensive to do.

01 galant, 98K for 4500K seems kind of expensive, do you know what trim it is (DE,ES,LS,GTZ)? also V6 or I4?

haha DE for 4500 and its an 8 year old car? I got my 03 with 73k on it for 4800 in 2007. Talk them down. 3200 seems more down to earth if its in good condition.
