Hey everybody, just found this site. Its excellent so far.

I'm based in Scotland as the title suggests. Hoping to buy a galant next year once i sell my current car. Looking for a 99-03 2.0 sport or maybe 2.5v6 if i can afford the running costs.

Anyway i'll be around asking/looking for advice on wheels lowering and other stuffs soon!

I am also new to TGC and I am also in the works of trying to buy a 8g.
What you driving now? I am currently in a 1990 Chevy Lumina. This car is a real piece of shit!!!

welcome to TGC| good luck picking up a galant. whats your current car?

Currently got a 2002 Ford Mondeo. Its nice loads of toys but boring. Always had jap cars and me old man used to have an old k reg galant back in the day. Always liked them. Inherited the mondeo from my dad in law cos it was going cheap. Had it a year in march so hopefully gonna punt it and get a galant for around the £2k-3.5k. Stick some 18"s on it, lower it and stick a mid spoiler on and i'll be happy.

U got Galant Sport in Scotand? How does the interior look like? Got a 2.0l Sport my self but havnt found Galants with similar interior outside Norway

lol lol me to, plus they run like a 1.8 so id pass. i just have a thing for colts, i want one so bad but mainly the old ones

I used to have an old 1995 1.6 colt. it was my first car. Been on civic/celica/mazda etc. Now seem to landed on fords must be getting old!

All thats gonna change soon tho once i sell the mondeo and get a G home!!
