I apologize in advance if this has already been answered in a previous post however... I have searched and not been able to find the exact answer i am looking for. to start i have a 00 LS v6 and i am looking for a tutorial on how to remove and replace the harmonic balancer as i have been told by a mechanic shop that it is starting to separate and is why my alternator belt keeps falling off. I thought at first it was a bad tensioner, but when the motor is running i can see the harmonic balancer wobble and move in and out, rubbing against the power steering belt and squealing. so if anyone has the correct procedure and tool list to take it off and replace i would appreciate it.
